The obituary notice of Olwen Noreen JEWITT (née Drakeley)

Olwen was a fellow student with me , at St Mary's College, in the 1970s. We both did four years there to get a B.Ed degree, and both did English Literature, as our main subject. We kept in touch until fairly recently and met up a few times, too. I last saw her at the funeral of our main English tutor, Dr Gwenneth Lilly. Olwen was always good company and we had interesting chats, not only about our subjects but also about our early lives in the Midlands. She lived in Derby originally, and I am from Nottingham.
